Kevin William Cairns (born 29 June 1937 in Preston) is an English former footballer who played as a left back in the Scottish Football League for Dundee United and in the Football League for Southport, where he spent most of his career. He then played non-league football for Wigan Athletic, where he played four games in the Cheshire League, and made a further five appearances in the Northern Premier League.
Cairns was spotted by Dundee United playing in an Army game while doing his National Service. After he was demobbed, he won promotion with Dundee United in 1960–61. Dundee United gave him a free transfer and he signed for Southport in 1962.
