Biography

Kendall Myles Webb (born September 24, 1984 in Amarillo, Texas) was an All-American point guard for Wayland Baptist University who went on to play professionally for the Bergheim Bandits of Germany. Wayland Baptist competes in the Sooner Athletic Conference of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, or NAIA.
Webb led two teams to the NAIA National Championships and one team to the Sooner Athletic Tournament finals. He was named SAC Freshman of the Year during the 2003-2004 season and 2nd Team All-SAC in the 2004-2005 season. He was named 1st Team All-SAC and 3rd Team All-American during the 2005-2006 season when he averaged 18.9 points and 4.6 assists per game. Webb was named SAC Player of the Year for the 2006-2007 season and produced the highest scoring average of any player in the conference at over 22 points per game.
Coming into the 2006-2007 season, Webb ranked 12th on the all-time Wayland scoring list with 1,419 points. The Wayland scoring record had been held by Michael Parks who played from 1983–1987 and scored 2,015 points. Webb surpassed the record and became the school’s all-time scoring leader on February 17, 2007 with a 36-point performance in a road win at the University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma. Webb finished his career at Wayland with 2,074 points.
