Kelly Peng is the founder, CEO & CTO of Kura AR, building revolutionary augmented reality glasses with customized optical & display systems, that able to do a 150-degree field of view with customized compact microdisplay, which 3X the field of view of Magic Leap, Microsoft Hololens. Kura AR raised 1.5 million so far from HTC VIVE, Crunchfund (Tuesday Capital), Peter Thiel’s 1517 Fund, The House Fund, Corning, Hanhai, and angels. Kura AR have over 100K unit LOI.

Kelly Peng is a self taught electrical / optical / software engineer, who founded UC Berkeley student rocket team, built a deuterium nuclear fusion reactor in garage, currently also runs an hardware startup / hacker house based in San Francisco, with hardware tool lab and ongoing build sessions on projects including Raman spectrometer, linear particle accelerator, Tesla coil, brain computer interface based truth/false detection.

She gave a talk Hackaday / Supply Frame conference about her progress of building AR glasses and taught herself on electronics & optics. She's recognized at Forbes 30 under 30 on the Manufacturing and Industrial list.
