Kathy Anderson (Kathleen Anderson) is an artist, on-camera personality and videographer from Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Early life
Anderson took to drama at a young age, and went on to earn a BFA in Acting from Ryerson, University.
She received acclaim for her 2008 Toronto Fringe Festival production, Gameshow: The Musical, which Anderson wrote and composed. Despite earning the "Best in Fringe" (2008) award, the production was met with mixed reviews from press.
Career
Anderson's web series "Puck My Balls" was praised by Sports Illustrated, NBC, The Huffington Post, and Uproxx. In 2011, Uproxx's Dylan Kinnett claimed she was the "funniest woman in sports." Anderson was also awarded a "Slammie" from NBA.com, for her Blake Griffin tribute video.
This recognition earned Anderson a contract with the MLB Advanced Media, where she made video content featuring the Toronto Blue Jays. Following this, she began work with the Vancouver Canucks, making videos featuring players and Canadian celebrities.
Currently she works as a freelance videographer and editor in Toronto.
