Biography
Karnesh Sharma is an Indian film producer. He is the co-founder of the production company Clean Slate Films, along with sister, actress Anushka Sharma. The brother-sister duo produced crime thriller NH10 in 2015 and with their second production Phillauri, released in March 2017.
Personal life
Sharma hails from Uttar Pradesh, India. His father Ajay Kumar Sharma was a Colonel in the Indian Army, while mother Ashima Sharma is a homemaker. Sharma was a state level cricket player and played for the under-19 Bangalore Ranji cricket team. He was formerly serving in the Merchant Navy. His sister Anushka Sharma is a film actress and producer.
Clean Slate Films
Anushka Sharma and Karnesh Sharma are the only brother-sister producer team in Bollywood. Their first crime thriller NH10 garnered critical acclaim and was regarded as a sleeper hit. Their second project Phillauri starring Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh released on March 24, 2017. The team also has two more upcoming projects.
