Kari Knudsen (born January 17, 1939) is a Norwegian model and actress.
Early life
Knudsen was born on 17 January 1939 in Romsdal, Norway. Growing up, Knudsen wanted to be an actress.
Following her dreams she moved to America in 1960.
Career
After moving to America, she began acting and modeling and became the Playboy Playmate of the February 1962 issue of the magazine. Her centerfold was photographed by Justin Kerr and Barbara Kerr. The 5'4" model was preceded in the January issue by American model, Merle Pertile, and succeeded in the March issue by Canadian model, Pamela Anne Gordon.
In 1963, she appeared in Jerald Intrator-directed film, The Orgy at Lil's Place. She played the role of "Ann Carson" under the stage name of Carrie Knudsen.
According to Playboy magazine, Knudsen lists horseback riding, knitting, and modern jazz as her favorites.
