Biography
Karel Sabbe (Waregem, 1989) is een Belgische ultraloper.
Biografie
Na het lopen van marathons liep hij in 2015 New Zealands wonderfull coast to coast. Later volgde de Marathon des Sables (2016), Pacific Crest Trail (2016), Appalachian Trail (2018), Barkley Marathons (2019).
Hij werd tijdens de PCT, AT en de Barkley Marathons logistiek ondersteund en begeleid door zijn schoonbroer en kinesist, Joren Biebuyck.
In de stad Gent is een berg naar hem genoemd, nadat Karel Sabbe deze berg duizenden keren opliep bij wijze van training.
