Biography
Karanam Pavan Prasad(Kannada ಕರಣಂ ಪವನ್ ಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ) is an Indian author in Kannada language. He is famous for his first ever Novel Karma (ಕರ್ಮ). Basically, he is a playwright. His work echoes like the works of popular Novelist SL Bhyrappa. After the release of his second Novel Nunni, Pavan Prasad proved himself by delivering unique literature stuff. It made him Full fledged Novelist of Kannada literature.
Early life
Karanam Pavan Prasad was born in the Bangalore district in Karnataka. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Bangalore University. His theatrical productions made him to enter the world of Kannada literature. His second most play Purahara got an immense response from theatre enthusiasts, he acted himself the role called Arab Adil Shaw. In 2013 he took a break from theatre productions and involved in writing a novel called Karma. As he mentioned in the foreword of the book Karma, he got some inputs from eminent novelist SL Bhyrappa and prominent scholar Shatavadhani Ganesh from the scratch. Recently, novel karma translated into English also.
Career
He started his career as a theatre director and playwright. Presently he is working as User Interface Designer, simultaneously engaging himself with Research, literature study and writing.
His second novel called 'Nunni'was released on 25 September 2015. It made a critical analysis of christian missionaries Having Nun as a protagonist. With the commencement of NUNNI novel Karanam Pavan Prasad Listed as Prominent writer for Kannada literature. 'Mother Elisa' The character which resembles Mother Teresa, Eminently portrayed in this novel and also it propagated significant debates about truth, harmony and service. The novel went out well with selling perspective as well as critical perspective.
