Biography
Koduri Viswa Vijayendra Prasad (born 27 May 1942) is an Indian film screen writer and director known for his works in Telugu cinema and Bollywood. In 2011, he directed the Telugu Cinema Rajanna, which won the Nandi Award for Best Feature Film.
Since 1988, he was the screenwriter for more than twenty five films, most of which turned out to be blockbusters. His recent works include Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, Mersal, Baahubali: The Beginning and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which became the biggest blockbusters of the year, for which Prasad won the Filmfare Award for Best Story.
Personal life
K V Vijayendra Prasad is the father of filmmaker S. S. Rajamouli and uncle to music composers M. M. Keeravani, M. M. Srilekha, Kalyani Malik and writer Sivasri Kanchi.
