Jusuf Gazibegović ([jǔsuf ɡǎzibeːgoʋitɕ]; born 11 March 2000) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as a right back for Austrian Second League club Liefering, on loan from Red Bull Salzburg, and the Bosnia and Herzegovina U21 national team.
Club career
Early career
Born in Salzburg, Gazibegović started playing football in local team Austria Salzburg at the age of seven. Soon afterwards, he joined Red Bull Salzburg's youth setup.
He made his professional debut playing for Red Bull Salzburg's feeder team, Liefering, against Ried on 3 March 2018 at the age of 17.
On 10 April 2019, Gazibegović suffered a severe knee injury, which turned out to be anterior cruciate ligament tear and was sidelined for at least six months.
International career
Gazibegović represented Bosnia and Herzegovina on all youth levels.
