Joshua Pynadath (born February 20, 2002), is an American soccer player who plays as a forward for Jong Ajax at the Eerste Divisie.
Career
Club
Pynadath, whose family is from America and who has family roots in India, started playing soccer at the De Anza Force Soccer Club. In 2013, he made headlines when Spanish giant clubs Barcelona and Real Madrid showed interest in sign him into their youth system. Pynadath ended signing with Real Madrid, becoming the first American and the first Indian soccer player to ever join Madrid's youth program.
In 2015, Pynadath moved to the Netherlands and then started to be part of the AFC Ajax youth system. On September 16, 2019, he made his professional debut when he played for Jong Ajax at the Eerste Divisie. Pynadath came in the 18th minute of the match against Jong PSV replacing Danilo.
International
Pynadath played for the United States U15 team and, recently, for the United States U17 team.
