Biography
Joshua Osih (born, Joshua Nambangi osih, 9 December 1968) is a Cameroonian politician. He is the vice president of the main opposition party in Cameroon known as the Social Democratic Front (Cameroon) (SDF) In the history of Cameroon politics, in 2013; Joshua became the first Anglophone Cameroonian to served as a Parliamentarian in Douala the Littoral Region (Cameroon). Joshua Osih, apart from been a politician, he is the chairman of Camport PLC in Cameroon. According to sources, Joshua will be SDF Candidate for Presidential election in Cameroon in 2018.
Career
Joshua Osih, was the vice president of SDF till February 24th, 2018. In 2013, he was the first Anglophone Cameroonian to served as a Parliamentarian in Douala the Littoral region of Cameroon since in the history of Cameroon politics. and the chairman of Camport PLC in Cameroon.
On Thursday July 21, 2016 on a TV programme known as ‘Espace Politique’ aired on Cameroon state Television the CRTV, It was declared by SDF chairman John Fru Ndi that; Joshua Osih, will be SDF Candidate for 2018 presidential election in Cameroon. This was finally confirmed when he won the elections to represent his party in the 2018 presidential elections. This was gained in the Bamenda Congress Hall against fellow Forbi Nchinda.
