Biography
Jonathan Rubinsztein is an Australian businessman. He is the CEO and managing director of Infomedia Ltd, an ASX300 company (ASX:IFM). He is also a director of not for profit organisations Humanitix and Missionvale Australia.
Education
Rubinsztein holds a bachelor of commerce degree from Cape Town University, a Post Graduate Degree in Applied Finance from FINSIA and a MBA from Australian Graduate School of Management.
Career
At university, Rubinsztein founded a textiles company producing blanket jackets for impoverished communities in South Africa. Following university, he immigrated to Australia where he began work as a consultant at Andersen Consulting. and then as a Strategy Consultant for A.T. Kearney.
In 1999, Rubinsztein founded Red Rock Consulting (UXC), the largest reseller of Oracle products in the Australia and New Zealand.
In 2004, Red Rock was sold to UXC, Rubinsztein remaining in a leadership role until 2010, when he was appointed CEO of UXC Red Rock Consulting a role he remained in until 2016. In 2015, Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) confirmed that it was poised to buy UXC. In February 2016, CSC finalised the acquisition of UXC. (AFR)
In January 2016, Rubinsztein was appointed managing director and CEO of Infomedia Ltd.
Rubinsztein is in the Sydney YPO Chapter and was on the Sydney Chapter Board from 2017-2019
