Biography
John Speare Tosswill (6 August 1890 – 28 September 1915), sometimes known as Jack Tosswill, was an English professional football inside right who played in the Football League for Liverpool.
Personal life
Tosswill was partially deaf. He served as a corporal in the Royal Engineers during the First World War, but before he could serve overseas, he died after an operation following an illness.
