Biography
Joëlle Jones is an American comic book artist. She is best known for creating Lady Killer, a comic series published in 2015–2016 by Dark Horse Comics which she illustrated and co-wrote with Jamie S. Rich. The series is about a 1960s housewife who moonlights as a killer. At the 2016 Eisner Awards, Lady Killer was nominated for Best Limited Series and Jones received nominations for Best Penciller/Inker and Best Cover Artist.
Jones attended the Pacific Northwest College of Art, where she studied painting; she dropped out to pursue comic book illustration. For Marvel Comics, she has illustrated seven issues of Mockingbird, as well as issues for Spider-Woman, Scarlet Witch and Ms. Marvel. She is also the illustrator of the four-part series Supergirl: Being Super written by Mariko Tamaki and published by DC Entertainment.
