Biography
John "Jock" Taylor (1886 – 15 September 1916) was a Scottish footballer who played as an inside forward for Peterhead, Hull City and most notably for New Brompton, where he made over 130 appearances. He served as a private in the Royal Scots during the First World War and was killed on the Somme.
