Jivaka Kumar Bhaccha

Jivaka, also titled Jivaka Komarabhacca (Jīvaka Komārabhacca), was a physician in Ancient India and a major lay follower of Gautama Buddha. He lived in the Magadha capital of Rajagaha in the time of King Bimbisara (and later Ajatashatru). He was trained in Ayurveda medicine, Jivaka was also well versed in Asana and meditation practice. Believed to have been inspired by the teachings of the Buddha.
