Jimmy Feigen

James Stephen Feigen (born September 26, 1989) is an American former competitive swimmer and Olympic gold medalist. He won a gold medal as a member of the winning U.S. team in the 4×100-meter freestyle relay at the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Feigen was born in San Antonio, Texas, and grew up in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where he attended Winston-Salem Reynolds High School. He began swimming at the age of six.

Feigen competed in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, where he won a silver medal in the 4×100-meter freestyle relay. He also competed in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, where he won a gold medal in the 4×100-meter freestyle relay.

Feigen was involved in a controversial incident during the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. He initially claimed to be a victim of an armed robbery, but later admitted to exaggerating the events. He agreed to make a donation to a Brazilian charity in order to avoid criminal charges.

After retiring from competitive swimming, Feigen started a real estate development company in Texas. He also founded the Jimmy Feigen Foundation, which focuses on providing resources and opportunities for underprivileged youth.
