Jeremy Reaves is an American restaurateur, currently the CEO/president Cook Out — a privately owned fast food restaurant chain operating in North Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Mississippi, and Maryland.
Cook Out was founded in 1989 in Greensboro, North Carolina, by his father Morris Reaves. As of November 2019, Cook Out has 263 locations operating in ten states. Their first out-of-state store was opened in Spartanburg, South Carolina, on July 30, 2010.
Cook Out has a variety of religious phrases printed on its food packaging. For example, "John 3:16" and "God Bless America" are printed on the cups, "God Bless the USA" and "Galatians 6:10" are printed on the french fry bags, and "THANK YOU GOD FOR AMERICA" and "Psalms 119:165" are printed on the full size bags, but Bible verses vary.
On April 5, 2020, Cook Out announced it opened its new restaurant concept Taco Roo's Tacos & Chicken in Wilmington, North Carolina. The new restaurant has the normal Cook Out menu and it also features a special menu that has a walking taco in a Doritos bag.
