Biography

Jeremy A. Peterson is an American politician and a Republican member of the Utah House of Representatives representing District 9 since January 1, 2011. Jeremy Peterson lives in Ogden, UT, with his wife, Kim, and their four children: Hannah, Wynnie, Sophie, and Esther. He currently works as a Real Estate Broker with Vista Real Estate.

Education

Peterson earned his BS in marketing from Weber State University.

Political career

Jeremy Peterson was first elected to the House of Representatives on November 2, 2010.

During the 2016 Legislative Session Peterson served on the Business, Economic Development, and Labor Appropriations Subcommittee, the House Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Committee, and the House Revenue and Taxation Committee.
