Biography
Jens Westphalen (* 1964 in Hamburg) ist ein deutscher Biologe, Tierfilmer, Kameramann, Regisseur und Filmproduzent.
Bevor Jens Westphalen zum Naturfilm kam, arbeitete er als Naturfotograf in Südamerika, Asien, Europa und Afrika. Seit 1993 entstanden zusammen mit Thoralf GrospitzTier- und Naturfilme wie z. B. „Die Nordsee“ und „Wildes Japan“. Die Filme wurden u. a. in der ARD-Reihe Erlebnis Erde und in der NDR-Reihe Expeditionen ins Tierreich gezeigt.
