Biography
Jelka Pirkovič, slovenska umetnostna zgodovinarka, konservatorka in političarka, * 26. marec 1948.
V času 8. vlade Republike Slovenije je bila državna sekretarka na ministrstvu za kulturo.
Med letoma 1991 in 1995 je bila direktorica Zavoda RS za varstvo naravne in kulturne dediščine. Direktorsko funkcijo Zavoda je imela tudi v letih 2012-2014. V novo vladi RS je bila marca 2020 imenovana za vršilko dolžnosti direktorice Direktorata za kulturno dediščino na Ministrstvu za kulturo.
