Biography
Jarred Bonaparte is an American bassist. He was the first bassist of the metalcore/thrash metal band Trivium.
In 1999, in Orlando, Florida, Bonaparte co-founded Trivium with Brad Lewter (bass and vocals) and Travis Smith (drums) — all students at Lake Brantley High School in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
Bonaparte initially played the guitar. He switched to playing the bass after Lewter left the band in 2000 and Brent Young joined as the guitarist.
Bonaparte remained with the band for two years, since its formation until 2001, playing in various clubs and small concerts. In 2001, he left the band, and probably the world of music, and Brent Young took over the role of the bassist.
The current lineup of the band is:
- Matt Heafy (guitars, vocals)
- Corey Beaulieu (guitars, unclean backing vocals)
- Paolo Gregoletto (bass, clean backing vocals)
- Alex Bent (drums, percussion)
