Janalynn Castelino

Janalynn Castelino (born October 18, 1998) is a versatile singer, songwriter, and doctor. 

Early Life

Castelino was born in Mumbai to Roman Catholic parents Lorna and Joseph Castelino. As a child, most of Janalynn's music style and taste were influenced by Italian descent. She started singing at the age of 3 and was involved in the church choir. As a student, she participated in inter school and district singing and elocution competition, emerging as a young winner. Her formative years have been described as being study and sports oriented. Janalynn was the academic zonal topper, securing a score of 96.36% in the 10th Grade Board exams (GCSE). From there on, she had to quit her athletic career and artistic dreams after cracking the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test to secure admission into medical college. Janalynn is a qualified doctor and wishes to pursue further education in the research field.

Career

While studying medicine, Janalynn began posting covers to her YouTube Channel merely as a hobby until her musical works had been affirmed by millions of views and streams. She is known to have sung in over a dozen languages, performing in the Pop, R&B and Soul genres.
