Biography
James Blair (9 November 1900 – 9 October 1961) was an Australian-born New Zealand cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and right-arm off-break bowler who played for Otago. He was born in Tasmania and died in Karitane.
Blair made a single first-class appearance for the side, during the 1926-27 season, against Canterbury. From the upper-middle order, he scored 4 runs in the first innings in which he batted, in which Test cricketer Roger Blunt carried his bat for 131 runs, and 10 runs in the second.
Blair's nephew, Roy, and great-nephews Bruce and Wayne, also played first-class cricket.
