Itzam K'an Ahk I (May 22, 626 - November 15, 686) was a king of Maya city Piedras Negras in Guatemala. He had many monuments.
He is also called Ruler 2. He reigned 639-686, as a successor of his father.

Birth
Itzam K'an Ahk I was born on May 22, 626. His parents were king K'inich Yo'nal Ahk I and Lady Bird Headdress.
Reign
He acceded in on April 12, 639. He was just a boy when he became a king.
Among his military achievements was a victory over Santa Elena in 662, when he was in his thirties. He recorded another victory in 669.
He received a number of ko'haw helmets, a type of plated headdress associated with Teotihuacan.
Death
He died on November 15, 686.
Family
Itzam K'an Ahk I's wife was Lady White Bird. They were parents of his successor, K'inich Yo'nal Ahk II, who was a father of Lady Huntan Ahk.
