István Báthory [iŝtvAn bAtori], laŭ hungarlingve kutima sinsekvo Báthory István estis hungara kuracisto, akuŝisto-ginekologo.
István Báthory [1] naskiĝis en decembro de 1835 en Pest (urbo) (?). Li mortis la 6-an de januaro 1901 en Budapeŝto.
Biografio
István Báthory frekventis piaristan gimnazion, poste li akiris diplomon en Universitato de Pest en 1859. Post siaj studoj li eklaboris en Malsanulejo Rókus. En 1862 li laboris en kliniko, kie li aliĝis al stabo de Ignaz Semmelweis. En 1868 li estis nomumita ĉefkuracisto de Ferencváros (distrikto), tie li laboris ĝis sia morto.
