Biography

Isaac Yowman (born May 14, 1987), professionally known as Chill, is an American record producer, songwriter, engineer and film director from Houston, Texas. Formerly known as "Yung Chill", Yowman has collaborated with some of the industry's elite across various genre platforms in both music and film ranging from Pop and Gospel to R&B and Hip Hop music.

Early life and education

Isaac Yowman was born on 14 May 1987 in Missouri City, Texas. He attended Full Sail University, Winter Park, Florida and graduated with dual degrees in Audio Engineering & Entertainment Business.

Career

Yowman started off his career working under the name Yung Chill. In 2005, he released his debut album "Muzik In Da Flesh" with singles "Soul Muzik" & "Wassup." His second self-produced album in 2007 received 5 of 5 rating in Ozone Magazine. The album featured Trae tha Truth, Lil Keke, Big Hawk among others. However, the breakout underground hit was "Bottom of The Bottom" featuring Wes Fif & Dee Boi. When he was 20, he founded the production/record company “Keys and Ink” which launched the careers of Liam Ferrari, Miss Mykie, Zac Mann & Lo London.

In 2011, Yowman partnered up with James Kelley to launch Wire Road Studios in Houston, TX. That same year Yowman launched his film production company IYO Visuals, in Texas.

In 2012, Yowman became popular for his in-studio work with gospel heavy weights James Fortune & Zacardi Cortez. Over the years, he has worked and collaborated with famed music/film personalities including Beyonce, T.I., Trey Songz, R. Kelly, Snoop Dogg, Chris Brown, Busta Rhymes, Future, Fetty Wap, Rick Ross, The Game, Paul Wall, Jim Jones, Slim Thug, Jazze Pha, Yo Gotti, Mannie Fresh, Wale, James Fortune, Kurt Carr, Kirko Bangz, Jason Mewes, Zacardi Cortez, Plies, Fred Hammond, Waka Flocka Flame and Houston Texans running back Arian Foster. He received praise for his work on Trey Songz's RIAA certified gold "Chapter IV" album.

In 2013, Yowman was recognized for producing and being a co-writer on Kirko Bangz underground hit "What It Do" ft. Wale. During the success of his music career Yowman announced his independently released first theatrical film "The Holy Spoof". The short film starred Paul Wall, Mehgan James, and Phill Wade among others. He was awarded with a platinum plaque in honor of his work on the self-titled release from Beyoncé. In 2015, the album was nominated for a Grammy Award for Album of the Year.

In 2016, T-Wayne's "Nasty Freestyle", which Yowman engineered, became a global sensation and sold over 1 million singles online. At Wire Road Studios annual 30 for 30 event, both Yowman and T-Wayne received a platinum award. Yowman then directed the music video for the remix featuring Ty Dolla Sign & Chedda Da Connect. The same year, as a recording artist, Yowman launched  his project "Summer Valentine" with his viral single "Broads In Atlanta" and a follow-up song "Foreign".

Yowman also operates a Texas-based video production firm named IYO Agency.
