Biography
Irja Lutsar Tartus X Balti Lasteneuroloogide Ühingu konverentsil 2009. aastal.
Irja Lutsar (sündinud 20. juulil 1954) on eesti mikrobioloog ja viroloog, Tartu Ülikooli meditsiinilise mikrobioloogia ja viroloogia professor.
Irja Lutsar lõpetas TÜ arstiteaduskonna 1978. aastal. 1995 kaitses ta meditsiinidoktori kraadi. Tema doktoritöö teema oli "Kesknärvisüsteemi põletikulised haigused lastel (kliinilis-epidemioloogiline iseloomustus ja kaugtulemused)". Tartu Ülikooli professor alates 2004. aastast.
