Biography
Irfan-ul-Haque Siddiqui (pen name Irfan Siddiqui) (Urdu: عرفان الحق صدیقی) is a Pakistani politician, journalist for over two decades, columnist and a political analyst who is currently serving as a member of the Senate of Pakistan from the Punjab Province from March 2021 until March 2027.
His political affiliation is to Pakistan Muslim League (N). He also served as special adviser on national affairs to the former Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif.
During Nawaz Sharif's second reign, Siddiqui has also served as the press secretary of the former President of Pakistan Rafiq Tarar.
