Ignacio Giampaoli (born February 19, 1992) is an Argentine-Italian footballer who is currently playing as a midfielder for Hamilton Wanderers AFC (New Zealand) club in the ISPS Handa Premiership league, being coached at the moment by the international former New Zealand National Team manager Ricki Herbert.
Soccer career
Youth career and college
He has started his football career at the very young age of 11 in CEF 18, from his natal province Tucuman and played his child career there until the age of 16, when he sign for San Martín de Tucumán as a midfielder.i After spending some very good years in the youth divisions of San Martín de Tucumán, Ignacio Giampaoli was scouted to train with A.F.C. Bournemouth under 21s squad.
In the year 2011 as a student of Universidad del Norte Santo Tomás de Aquino, he was chosen to play for his college football team that plays in CODUCA league every year.
Professional
In the year 2014, he signed a professional deal with Deportivo Iztapa side that plays in the first division from Guatemala
That same year, Ignacio Giampaoli was the winner of the Gatorade G-Camp Argentina 2014 and after training in Casa Amarilla he had been awarded with the opportunity to play for IMG Academy from United States.
His experience playing in Guatemala and training with the US side IMG Academy attract the interest of the Greek team Panachaiki F.C, which signed him for a one-year deal in 2015, to play in the Football League (Greece) (3rd tier league from Greece).
In the mid-season transfer window of 2017, he signed for Weston Workers Bears FC
After spending some time in Europe with FC Písek from Czech Republic, he signed for Devonport City FC to play again in Australia in the next year season (2019).

Gatorade G-Camp 2014 Winner
In the year 2014, Ignacio Giampaoli was one of the 3 the winners of the Gatorade G-Camp, chosen by the Gatorade G-Camp 2014 staff (Juan Pablo Varsky, Víctor Hugo Marchesini, Diego Placente, Horacio Elizondo). The winners were invited to be part of the IMG Academy Bradenton team, which plays in the 2014 PDL season from United States of America.
Los Angeles Galaxy – Preseason Training Camp
In January 2017, after a 2-day open tryout with Los Angeles Galaxy, the coaching staff, decided to invite Ignacio Giampaoli to an extended period of tryouts on February. But after some days of trialing with other invited players, he wasn't chosen to sign contract with the team.
After trialing with LA Galaxy II, he caught the attention of the Australian club Weston Workers Bears FC. He signed for the team in the 2017 midseason transfer window and started 4 of 5 games that season.
