Biography

Ibn Abi al-Ashʿath (Arabic: أحمد بن محمد بن محمد بن أبي الأشعث‎‎; d. 975 CE) was a Persian physician of medieval Islam. He wrote a large number of commentaries on Galen's works.

He died in Mosul, Iraq.
