Biography
Horst Frickinger (* 17. Mai 1921 in Kassel; † 15. Januar 2021 in Vellmar) war ein Generalmajor der Bundeswehr.
Frickinger diente ab 1956 in der neu gegründeten Bundeswehr und nahm etliche hohe Führungsaufgaben wahr. Er kommandierte von 1973 bis 1976 die Panzergrenadierbrigade 5 sowie von 1980 bis 1981 die 7. Panzerdivision.
Er war Träger des Verdienstordens der Bundesrepublik Deutschland.
