Biography
Heresh Khalil (born May 4, 1994) is a Kurdish Professional wrestler in Norway. He wrestle for the Norwegian Wrestling Federation (NWF), by his ringname Heresh Kurdi and he's known by that name in Norway, Kurdistan and other countries.
Kurdi went to Wrestling School which is the only wrestling school in Norway and its Norwegian Wrestling Federation's school. He made his debut as a professional wrestler in October 4, 2014. He's known for his kurdish patriotism and his unique high flying style.
Personal life
Kurdi is the eldest son of Khalil and Hadar. he have three brothers and two sisters, their whole family lives in Oslo. Kurdi and his family came to Norway March 1, 2008 as refugees. He played soccer when he was younger and saw David Beckham as his inspiration, then he saw Wrestling and wanted to be a wrestler himself. His inspirations were Jeff Hardy, Rey Mysterio, Eddie Guerrero and Shawn Michaels. Kurdi studied Drama and theater first year at secondary school in Gol and then he moved to Oslo and continued his second and third year in Bjørnholt seconday school. He study Political science in university in Drammen. Kurdi's favorite subject in school is history, he also read a lot about history in his free time, specially about Kurdistan's History.
NWF
Kurdi made his debut October 2, 2014 in Kongen På Haugen, he entered the ring and he was about to be interviewed. Hirden attacked Kurdi, but later that night Kurdi competed in Kongen På Haugen tournament and he was eliminated by Erik Isaksen. Kurdi impressed the Norwegian wrestler, Victor Dale that night, he asked to wrestle Heresh Kurdi in Powerslam Xll which was Kurdi's single debut match. From the beginning of his career he's been feuding with Hirden, he beat Garm Støylen, former NWF Champion. The feud ended when Kurdi teamed with his former enemy, Garm and they together beat Hirden (Allan Ackles and Ruslan) in Powerslam XIV.

Kurdi have appeared in some small commercials and documentaries for several Norwegian projects. The kurdish channel, Kurdistan TV made a reportage about his debut when Heresh Kurdi wrestled Victor Dale in Powerslam Xll. The Norwegian local newspaper, Hallingdølen made an article about Kurdi in the same day. He also appeared in the kurdish local newspapers from Hewler, Hewler News and the local newspaper from Dohuk, Evro Press. The kurdish online newspaper, Wishe.net made also and article about Kurdi. The Norwegian multicultural online newspaper, Utrop made an article about Kurdi's career, his life in Kurdistan and about how Kurdi lived when he came to Norway. Kurdi made a live interview on the Kurdish sport program, Sera Sport on GKurdistan TV.
