Biography
Halit Furriku was born in the village of Pukë Mece in 1951.
His first lesson was given by his uncle Rruste Furriku and hi finished the 7 year primary school in Pukë.
High school was done for the Faculty of History and Philology for the Russian lenguage in 1974 .
That year he become teacher in the gymnasiun of Pukë.
In addition, he has worked as a teacher in the school of Lufi.
Also school of Iballe.
Because of the system that Albania have those years he was called enemy of people, so Haliti worket at the cooperative of the village Kabash Pukë .
After ten years he appointed teachers school Qelzes continues there for 5 years.
After the change of the political system in Albania Halit Furriku is appointed as head of section of the first pluralist of Pukë District
In 1996, Halit Furriku was elected by the citizens of Pukë mayor of Pukë.
For the hospitality of the people of Kosovo in the year 1999 he combine the City Hall of Pukë with the city hall of Drenas
He has been a member of the Albanian Association Albania-Austria from which was constructed over 15 objects in the District of Pukë.
During 2008 he becomes Ambassador for Albania in Russia.
He died at the age of 57 in the year 2008.
