Halema or Halimeh Boland (Arabic: حليمة بولند, Persian: حلیمه عبدالجلیل بولند) (born December 10, 1980, Kuwait) is a Kuwaiti TV presenter in the Arab World, television host and former fashion model of Persian descent, She was awarded "Miss Arab Journalist" in 2007.
Early life
Halema was born in Kuwait. Her father is a merchant and her mother is a teacher. She received a bachelor's degree from the media department (Radio and TV) of the University of Kuwait.
Career
Boland was chosen to host a popular TV program called "Rin Ya Jaras" ("Ring the Bell") and immediately caught the attention of Future Television and The Middle East Broadcasting Center (MBC network). Boland also received offers from Saudi Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, who owns the Rotana Group network. She said "His Royal Highness flew my husband and me to Riyadh and offered me a deal to work exclusively as a presenter for Rotana".
In 2007 Fawazeer Halema became the first woman from the Persian Gulf to host a show with Alrai TV in Kuwait City, later broadcast on 12 channels.
In 2009 during the month of Ramadan, Halema, in conjunction with station MBC, starred in the "Series Halema". It was a quiz program and garnered a large viewership. It was described as controversial, which was written about extensively in the press. In 2012 gave birth to a girl from her husband, Abdul-Salam Al-Khubaizi name "Maria"
Boland joined the "funoon-tv" channel in 2011.
Personal life
She is married to her colleague at the university, Abdul-Salam Al-Khubaizi. She gave birth to her first child, a daughter named Maria.
