Biography

Habiba Mohamed Ahmed Alymohmed, (born May 29, 1999 in Egypt) is a professional squash player who represents Egypt.

Mohamed is one of the youngest players on the Tour and has already demonstrated her precocious talents multiple times despite her tender years.

She first burst on to the scene as a 14 year-old, winning the Malaysian Tour Grand Final to become the youngest ever Tour title winner.

The Egyptian followed that up with titles at the Edinburgh Open and Paderborn Open before she lifted the World Junior Championship crown as she upset Nouran Gohar in the final after beating world champion Nour Elsherbini in 5-games .

Her first International 25 gong came at the Sporting Club Open where, after being seeded sixth for the draw, she bested Nour El Tayeb in an all-Egyptian final to take home the crown.

Mohamed was unlucky not to win the HKFC International 25 in May 2015 as she was beaten by Annie Au in a five-game-thriller despite the Egyptian taking a 2-1 lead. That result meant that she leapt into the top 20 in the World Rankings for the first time.
