Gyunduz Aidynovych Mamedov (Ukrainian: Гюндуз Айдинович Мамедов; born 26 October 1974 in Ganja, Azerbaijan) - is a Ukrainian legalist and the current Prosecutor of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (since 22 August 2016), Senior Councillor of Justice, Candidate of Juridical Sciences.
Biography
In 1996 graduated from the Odessa I. I. Mechnikov National University with the specialization of jurisprudence.
Since 1996 worked in Prosecutor`s office of Primorskii raion (district) of Odessa, where Mamedov has worked his way up starting as the Prosecutor’s assistant – the intern of the Prosecutor’s office and up to the first deputy prosecutor of Primorskii raion of Odessa.
2012 – 2013 worked for the Prosecutor’s office of Kyiv Oblast (Region).
March - December 2013 – he was senior researcher of the department in National academy of Prosecution of Ukraine.
December 2013 – July 2014 – worked for Environmental Prosecutor’s office in Dnipro as the Head of investigation department.
11th July 2014 – August 2016 – prosecutor of Odessa and deputy prosecutor of Odesa Oblast.
On 22nd August 2016 – G. Mamedov was appointed Prosecutor of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
On 31st March 2017 the Prosecutor’s office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea was established in Kyiv in presence of General Prosecutor of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko and Prosecutor of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Gyunduz Mamedov.
