Biography
Guyon Espiner (born 31 December 1970) is a New Zealand print and television journalist.
Career
Espiner attended the University of Canterbury before joining TVNZ in 2003 as a political reporter. He was appointed to the position of political editor in 2006, and also writes a political column in North & South magazine.
Espiner was co-host of Agenda before its cancellation and currently conducts the interviews on "Agenda's" successor Q+A, and has been regularly interviewed on the television programme Breakfast, to discuss heated political issues.
At the end of 2011, Espiner left TVNZ to join the reporting team of TV3's current affairs programme 60 Minutes.
In 2013, Espiner hosted two new current affairs shows on TV3 – 3rd Degree and The Vote.
In 2014, Espiner took over co-hosting Morning Report on Radio New Zealand National with Susie Ferguson.
Personal life
Espiner married Emma Wehipeihana in a private ceremony on 5 February 2012.
