Biography
Grace McLean is an American actor, playwright, composer and singer.
In 2019 McLean starred, off-Broadway, in In the Green, a play with music that she wrote on eleventh century polymath Saint Hildegard.McLean plays Jutta, Hildegard's mentor and fellow prisoner.
Other works McLean has acted in include: Kazino, Brooklynite, Bedbugs!!!, The World is Round, Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812, Alice By Heart, Sleep No More, Pump Boys and Dinettes, La mama cantata, From the fire, The Last Goodbye, Twelve Ophelias.
In 2012 McLean participated in a panel on storytelling, sponsored by the Economist.
In 2016 and 2017 McLean was toured Russia and Pakistan sponsored by the State Department
In 2017 McLean was one of the Lincoln Centre's writers in residence.
McLean also headlines the band Grace McLean & Them Apples.
