Biography
Giuseppe Amato (24 August 1899 – 3 February 1964) was an Italian film producer, screenwriter and director. He produced 58 films between 1932 and 1961. He was born in Naples and died in Rome from a heart attack. He is especially known for Bicycle Thieves.
