Biography
Gerhard Gottfried Rooks (23. juuli 1901 Cēsis – 5. juuli 1975 Tallinn) oli eesti arstiteadlane.
Aastatel 1920–1925 (lõpetas cum laude) õppis ta Tartu Ülikooli arstiteaduskonnas, dr. med. 1932 ("Veregruppide jaotusest ja väljavaadetest paterniteedi määramiseks veregruppide abil Eestis"). Korporatsiooni Rotalia vilistlane.
Tartu Ülikooli ja Halle Ülikooli õppejõud, dotsent (1934), professor (1937), arstiteaduskonna dekaan.
Ta on kirjutanud esimese eestikeelse kohtumeditsiini käsiraamatu (Kohtuarstiteadus, Tartu 1938).
Gerhard Rooks osales vaatlejana Katõni massimõrva uurimiskomisjonis.
