Biography
Georg Johannes Heinrich Scheel (10. detsember 1840 Lübeck – 26. august 1897 Tallinn), oli eesti pangandustegelane, G. Scheel & Co panga asutaja.
Georg Johannes Heinrich Scheel asus Tallinna 1862. aastal, kus tegutses 1866–1882 Eestimaa mõisnike krediitkassa raamatupidajana ning seejärel 1882 asutatud Tallinna Linnapanga direktorina. Kui Tallinna Linnapank 1884 suleti, asutas G. J. H. Scheel Tallinna suuräride omanike rahalisel toetusel isikliku eraettevõttena G. Scheel & Co pangakontori, mida juhtis kuni surmani 1897. aastal.
