Biography
Gary Blackney (born December 12, 1944) is a retired college football coach. He previously served as the former head coach of the Bowling Green college football program from 1991-2000. He also served as an assistant coach with the Ohio State, Syracuse, UCLA, Wisconsin, Rhode Island, Central Florida, and Brown football programs, and was the Maryland defensive coordinator from 2001 to 2005. After the 2008 season, he retired from coaching and resigned as defensive backs coach at Central Florida.
