Francesco Terzi (c. 1525 – 20 August 1591) was an Italian painter of the Renaissance period. He was born in Bergamo. He was a pupil of Giovanni Battista Moroni. He painted two pictures a Nativity, and an Assumption of the Virgin for San Francesco, in Bergamo. He was invited and appointed painter to the court of the Emperor Maximilian II in Vienna. Terzi passed the greater part of his life in Germany, but died in Rome. A series of portraits by him of the Austrian archducal family was afterwards engraved.
