Biografia
Nel 2009 ha proposto un disegno di legge costituzionale, insieme all'onorevole Luigi Compagna del PdL, per ripristinare l'immunità parlamentare.
È figlia di Gerardo Chiaromonte, già parlamentare del Partito Comunista Italiano.
