Fil Bo Riva (born 1992 as Filippo Bonamici in Rome) is an Italian musician.
Life
Filippo Bonamici was born as son of an Italian father and a German mother in Rome. With 10 years he started to play guitar. He was member of several bands. He later was sent to an residential school in Ireland. Afterwards he shortly lived in Madrid, before returning to Rome. Bonamici then applied for a study at the Berlin UdK.
In 2014 he stopped studying and fully concentrated on creating music. During this time he met guitarist Felix A. Remm and producer Robert "Robbie" Stephenson.
In 2015 he was support act for AnnenMayKantereit. In the next year his first EP If You're Right, It's Alright was released. He then toured with Joan As Police Woman and played live at The Great Escape Festival, Eurosonic Noorderslag and Montreux Jazz Festival. In 2019 he was nominated for Music Moves Europe Talent Award.
Also in 2019 Fil Bo Riva released his debut album Beautiful Sadness on Humming Records.
