Biography
Eugène Berloz (1853-1937), fut un homme politique belge socialiste.
Il fut instituteur à Huy et ensuite à Morlanwelz, où il devient professeur à l'École industrielle (1880-1894). Il sera bourgmestre de Morlanwelz et député de l'arrondissement de Thuin jusqu'en 1932.
Berloz fut un libre penseur et défendit grandement le corps enseignant et l'école officielle.
