Biography
Eugen Soonvald (18. oktoober 1912 Tartu – 16. veebruar 1994 Tallinn) oli Eesti mehaanikainsener, ekskavaatorite tootmise algataja Eestis, freesturbakogumismasinate ning maaparandusekskavaatorite peakonstruktor.
Ta lõpetas aastal 1940 Tallinna Polütehnilise Instituudi ehitus- ja mehaanikateaduskonna masinaehituse erialal.
Eugen Soonvald suri 16. veebruaril 1994 Tallinnas ja ta maeti 22. veebruaril 1994 Rahumäe kalmistule.
