Erin Smith is an American entrepreneur, 2019 Thiel Fellow, and founder of FacePrint.
Early life and education
Erin Smith was born in 1999 in Lexena, Kansas. The summer before her senior year of high school, she participated in MIT's Research Science Institute. While accepted to Stanford University in 2018, Erin Smith deferred her acceptance to become a 2019 Thiel Fellow.
FacePrint
Smith developed FacePrint after observing that patients with Parkinson's tended to have facial expressions that appeared distant.
